Paige Lawrence is a sophomore history major from Kansas. Aside from YSLPR, Paige is involved with the Women’s Leadership Initiative, Disability Empowerment For Yale (DEFY), and the William F. Buckley Jr. Program.

Adrian Bebenek is a sophomore chemistry and history double major from the suburbs of Chicago. Adrian is also involved in the Yale Polish Society, starting a Boy Scout Troop for New Haven Refugees, research at the medical school, and Design for America.
Ileana ValdezTreasurer + Webmaster
Ileana Valdez is a sophomore computer science student from Dallas, Texas. She is an active member of various Yale student government groups and helps lead Yale’s introductory computer science program. In her free time, Ileana loves to cook, make slime and tinker around in the center for engineering, innovation and design.

Sean is a junior studying physics and computer science. Sean previously directed the Education Center of the Yale Roosevelt Institute. He performs sketch comedy for The Good Show and leads backpacking trips with FOOT.
Ryley ConstableAssociate Editor of Economic Development and Governance
Ryley is a sophomore studying economics from Gillette, WY. He is also an active debater in the Yale Political Union, serves on the board of the Yale College Council, and works for the Yale Student Tech Collaborative. In his free time, he likes to talk about Wyoming, read philosophy, and play intramural sports.
J.J. BorjaAssociate Editor of Education
J.J. is a junior pursuing a B.A./M.A. dual degree in History. Before joining YSLPR, he was involved in education policy research with the Yale Roosevelt Institute Education Center. He also plays guitar with the Yale Jazz Ensemble, is involved with the Yale Animal Welfare Alliance, and studied abroad in France.
Grace ChenAssociate Editor of Healthcare and Public Health
Grace Chen is a sophomore in the Global Health Scholars program majoring in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. Outside of YSLPR, she is also a co-founder of club synchronized swimming, lighting designer and dancer for Danceworks, and volunteer at the HAVEN Free Clinic.
Lindsay JostAssociate Editor of Infrastructure
Lindsay Jost is a sophomore History major with a focus on Ideas and Intellectuals. Outside of YSLPR, she plays Club Lacrosse, sings with her a capella group Unorthojocks, and writes humor as a staff reporter for the Yale Daily News. She is also incredibly passionate about public transportation and urban planning.
Canaan HarrisAssociate Editor of Intergovernmental relationships
Canaan Harris is a junior from Mississippi majoring in Global Affairs. Outside of YSLPR, he is heavily involved in the Yale Political Union and works as a research assistant in the Political Science department.
Andrew BilodeauAssociate Editor of Quality of Life (Crime and Safety)
Andrew Bilodeau is a sophomore from Los Angeles majoring in History. He is involved with the Yale Hunger and Homelessness Action Project, The Roosevelt Institute at Yale’s Equal Justice Center, and the Yale Human Rights Journal. He is specifically interested in criminal justice policy in the United States and hopes to one day have a career as a public defender.
Bentley LongAssociate Editor of Socioeconomic Issues
Bentley Long is a first year from St. Simons Island, Georgia majoring in History. Outside of YSLPR, he is involved with the Roosevelt Institute at Yale’s Equal Justice Center, the Yale Daily News, the Yale Students for Sensible Drug Policy, and the Yale Undergraduate Legal Aid Association. He plans on pursuing a career in legal aid for nonprofits.
Marlena HinkleAssociate Editor of Energy and Environment
Marlena Hinkle is a sophomore from Melbourne, Florida majoring in Environmental Engineering and in the Energy Studies program. Outside of YSLPR, she is the training coordinator for the club Rock Climbing Team, a coach for the New Haven Youth Climbing Team, on the board of Yale’s Student Environmental Coalition, and on the undergraduate council for St. Thomas More Catholic Center.
Hunter ContosAssociate Editor of Financial Management
Hunter Contos is a sophomore studying Economics & Mathematics with a double major in Computer Science. Outside of YSLPR, he is an investment team head for the Urban Philanthropic Fund (UP Fund), on the business board of the Yale Daily News, and an active member of the Yale Political Union.
