Adrian Bebenek is a senior chemistry and history double major from the suburbs of Chicago. Adrian is also involved in the Yale Polish Society, starting a Boy Scout Troop for New Haven Refugees, research at the medical school, and Design for America.

Ileana Valdez is a senior computer science student from Dallas, Texas. She is an active member of various Yale student government groups and helps lead Yale’s introductory computer science program. In her free time, Ileana loves to cook, make slime and tinker around in the center for engineering, innovation and design.

Rebecca is a senior English major from Louisville, KY. Outside of designing for YSLPR, she is a production & design editor for the Yale Daily News, website director of The Boola, and the events chair of Yale Outdoors. She has a passion for doing graphic design and writing science fiction, and looks forward to pursuing both in the future.

Ryley is a senior studying economics from Gillette, WY. He is also an active debater in the Yale Political Union, serves on the board of the Yale College Council, and works for the Yale Student Tech Collaborative. In his free time, he likes to talk about Wyoming, read philosophy, and play intramural sports.

Will is a senior Global Affairs and East Asian Studies major from Charleston, WV. Outside of YSLPR, he leads tours in Chinese for the Visitor's Center and choreographs for Danceworks. After graduation, Will intends to channel his interest in transit-oriented development into a master's in urban planning.
Joaquín Lara MidkiffAssociate Editor of Intergovernmental Relationships
Joaquín is a Sophomore in Saybrook majoring in Evolutionary Biology and Latin American History. In addition to his work with YSLPR, he is also Vice President of Disability Empowerment for Yale (DEFY), a writer and editor for the Yale Review of International Studies (YRIS), a researcher in the Near lab (where he studies phylogeny and behavioral ecology), an affiliate of several political groups around campus, and an avid reader.
Andrew BilodeauAssociate Editor of Quality of Life (Crime and Safety)
Andrew Bilodeau is a junior from Los Angeles majoring in History. He is involved with the Yale Hunger and Homelessness Action Project, The Roosevelt Institute at Yale’s Equal Justice Center, and the Yale Human Rights Journal. He is specifically interested in criminal justice policy in the United States and hopes to one day have a career as a public defender.

Marlena Hinkle is a senior from Melbourne, Florida double-majoring in Environmental Engineering and Italian. She is also involved in the Energy Studies program and works in a research lab on sustainable water treatment technologies. Outside of YSLPR, she is involved with the club Rock Climbing Team, a coach for the New Haven Youth Climbing Team, and on the undergraduate council for St. Thomas More Catholic Center.
Naomi ShimbergAssociate Editor of Governance
Naomi is a junior majoring in Ethics, Politics, & Economics, pursuing certificates in Energy Studies and Statistics & Data Science. She is especially interested in environmental economics, labor economics, and state-level policy. On campus, he serves on the boards of Dwight Hall and the Slifka Center, tutors at the Writing Center, coaches debate in New Haven schools, works on a podcast with the Yale Carbon Charge, and is a captain of the Women’s Club Soccer Team.

Nathaniel is a junior from Miami, FL, studying political science and art history. Outside of class, he is on the board of the Caribbean Students Organization, the founder of La Francophonie à Yale, and plays on the Club Curling team. He loves to play the drums, guitar, and piano in his free time.
